THE SQUARE OF NINE

The “Master Price and Time Calculator”, which is popularly known as the Square of Nine happens to be one of the most interesting discoveries by W. D. Gann. Square of Nine is pyramidal arrangement of numbers and possess great ability to forecast price and time cycles. This article is an attempt to summarise mathematical principles behind the Square of Nine. Below is a snapshot of the Square of Nine: 133 134 135 136 137 138 139 140 141 142 143 144 145 132 91 92 93 94 95 96 97 98 99 100 101 146 131 90 57 58 59 60 61 62 63 64 65 102 147 130 89 56 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 66 103 148 129 88 55 30 13 14 15 16 17 38 67 104 149 128 87 54 29 12 3 4 5 18 39 68 105 150 127 86 53 28 11 2 1 6 19 40 69 106 151 126 85 52 27 10 9 8 7 20 41 70 107 152 125 84 51...

SIGNS OF THE TIMES

Cited from the book, "TRUTH OF THE STOCK TAPE" by WILLIAM D. GANN The Bible says "There is a time for everything." All the laws of Nature teach this. There is a time to sow and a time to reap. The four seasons of the year teach us that there is a reaping time and a sowing time, and that we can not reverse this order of Nature’s laws. Man does not try to grow oranges on Greenland's icy mountains; neither does he expect to cut ice from the tropical rivers in Florida, because it is out of season, time, and place. It is the same with the stock market. There is a time to buy and a time to sell, and when this time comes, neither bunches of bears nor bevys of bulls with hot air, hope, optimism, extreme pessimism, depression or bad reports, can force prices above or below the zones of Supply and Demand, out of season. You must learn to go with the tide, and not against it. Discern the signs of the times, and do not get caught in the undertow when the tide is ...

NIFTY50 Time Analysis using Gann’s Master 12 Chart

The Master 12 Chart is a time forecasting technique discovered by W. D. Gann which works amazingly well in describing very long time cycles. The chart appears as a two dimensional matrix containing 12 rows and 12 columns. Numbers in the chart usually denotes time in years. Numbers in the top (i.e. first) row represents top formation years whereas numbers in the middle (i.e. seventh) row represents bottom formation years. You can read more about the Master 12 Chart here . In this case study, I shall discuss about my analysis of NIFTY 50 index using Gann’s Master 12 Chart. NIFTY 50 index was launched in the year 1996. Hence, the Master 12 Chart for NIFTY 50 was constructed beginning 1996 in the bottom left corner cell ranging upto year 2139 in the top right corner of the chart. Top formation years are highlighted in green and bottom formation years in orange color. Years having vibration number 9 are bold faced . 2007 2019 2031 2043 2055 2067 2079 2091...

W. D. Gann's Master 12 Chart

The Master 12 Chart is a time forecasting technique discovered by W. D. Gann which works amazingly well in describing very long time cycles. The chart appears as a two dimensional matrix containing 12 rows and 12 columns. Numbers in the chart usually denotes time in years. The matrix is constructed beginning with number 1 in the bottom left corner cell. It progresses in bottom up fashion from 2 to 12 in the first column. Second column starts with the number 13 in the bottom and moves up till 24. All the remaining columns of matrix are constructed in similar fashion, finally placing number 144 in the top right corner cell of the matrix. In the Master 12 Chart, numbers in the top (i.e. first) row represents top formation years whereas numbers in the middle (i.e. seventh) row represents bottom formation years. In the below sample of Gann Master 12 chart, top formation years are highlighted in green and bottom formation years in orange color. 12 24 36 48 60 72...
